I gave this a neutral rating because I can see where some would love and some would hate. You have to go with the right attitude. I thought this was going to be catered to children. It's not! Don't get me wrong...there is nothing wrong with taking your children (nothing inappropriate), but it is not a "kiddy" show. It is... more

Captain Hook´s Pirate Ship --- should be blasted out of the water and sent down to Davy Jone´s Locker, and its Captain hung by the yardarm. My wife and I booked this excursion expecting a romantic evening, eating lobster and steak, surrounded by adventure, watching pirates fight it out and, to see a naval battle between the two rival pirate... more

My husband and I just did this excursion last night. We hated almost every minute of it. We were initially on the main floor on one of those rather uncomfortable wooden stools. "El Capitan Hook" was unnecessarily screaming into his microphone, and his voice was then carried forth by the extra-large Peavey brand speakers that were on either side of... more

I've been going to Cancun for almost 10yrs now with an assortment of family & friends & it has become a ritual to go on the Pirate's Cruise the night before we return to the states. After a night with Captain Hook & his gang, you don't feel quite so bad about having to go home & leave paradise. No,... more

My husband and I went to Barco Pirates Night December 9th, 2004. The price was $70 per person but the entertainment and food was well worth it! We ordered the Lobster dinner. You get two Lobsters with 4-5 different side dishes along with dessert and all the drinks you want. Careful though, I was sloushed by the time it was... more

I can not say enough about our pirates night cruise. It was amazing. The pirates were soooo funny. We were on the green boat and our captain looked like Prince. There was sword fighting with an enemy ship with sparks flying and pirates swinging from one ship to the other. The food was good and so was the service. These... more

Had a great time on this cruise, didn't know it was called barco's pirate cruise though. Thought it was Captain Hook. Anyway it was a lot of fun. My husband and I went in July. Our waiter for the night was Carlos and he was a doll! He took care of us all night, he kept our drinks filled even... more

Bring along your sense of humor and your sense of adventure and you will have a blast on this pirate cruise. Me and 5 other young ladies just traveled on this ship May 25, 2004 and had the time of our lives. It was very entertaining and well worth the money. Thanks to "Johnny Bravo" and Gilberto for adding to... more
