2 of our excursions involved snorkelling, and both were amazing experiences: JUNGLE TOUR: Speedboats to the reef (you drive your own, follow the guide), snorkel for 30+ minutes. It's stunning. Make sure to book the “Snorkeling Adventure” at your hotel. A van should pick you up at your hotel and a boxed lunch and drinks on board are included. Had an ok time snorkeling. For the price we paid I thought was worth it. I really liked the setting even though you could see a lot of debris washed up on shore from the hurricanes. It was like swimming in a gorgeous aquarium! Beautiful coral display and wonderful fish! It was great to see our tour leader swim with a wild sting ray and feed dozens of glowing fish. Amazing.
