Last year in December 2008; My fiance and I went to Lomo Bonita because I wanted to go SO bad... we don't ride horses regularly so he wasn't too excited to go... 1: It was quite a ride on the bus from Cancun; we met in this strange place of a mall and had to ask random workers where to... more

This was truly a phenomenal experience. I have been on horses my entire life, and consider myself to be well versed. Conversely, my husband has only been on a horse three times in his entire life. We both truly enjoyed the ride and the swim. Our tour guide, Ray, matched us perfectly to our horses, based on our experience level.... more

My husband and I signed up for the horseback riding extra. It was a nghtmare. I wondered why they had us sign a waiver about accidental injury. One girl's horse rolled over 3 tmes while she was on it. She got back on - I would not have. They warned us after we paid that the horses might roll over.... more

My husband and I have always wanted to go horse back riding and we figured that Mexico would be the perfect place. We booked this excursion through our apple rep through our hotel, and we were looking forward to this excursion. When we arrived to the ranch we were escorted back to the stable area where all the horses were... more

First and foremost - it was great and a highlight of the trip I have read the negative reviews and although the people that wrote them have a right to their opinion - it seems to me that they may not have experience around horses because of comments about the horses appearance and behavior. Horses on a merry go round... more

We just got back on the 7th of January- I'm not an animal rights activist, but I can tell you the condition of these horses is deplorable. These animals are given no shelter from the heat, no water over the 2 hour tour (none can be seen at the stalls either), are obviously hungry and get no snacks AND they... more

I have ridden horses for years so of course on my honeymoon I thought it would be awesome to ride down to the beach! I was a little concerned when we first arrived at the ranch (definitely a ranch...not a posh stable for pampered show horses) but after going over our safety information with the guide I was really looking... more

We just got back. I would not say this was not the best at all. First our bus was almost hour late picking us up. There were at least 50 in our group way to many. They don't allow even a trot and you have to pay $10 extra if you want to gallop. The ride into the water is... more

We went on the ATVs, which was a blast. However, before we even started our tour, the sight of the horses ruined my day. Their ribs were sticking out, they were tied to a fence in the sun which absolutely no shade, and they had no access to water. These horses had scars and open wounds on their face from... more

Ray and crew were awesome w/the guests on the horses. We did the horses and waverunner options. Highly recommend the waverunner option. From the research we did, this was by far the best deal on time w/waverunner and price...and the "leader" or whatever the guy who rides in front is called was awesome! We were looking for adventure when we... more
