Went in June 2009 and the hotel is beautiful. It was only about 10% occupied which was nice we didn't have crowds. The pool was great, the food was good but the service was not so great. When we booked the hotel, they were offering that kids eat free. It also stipulated that it was kids under the age of... more

The hotel was in a great location. We wanted to stay away from downtown Cancun and the party zone. The beach was alright... didn't spend too much time at the hotel's beach the waves were just too rough to swim in. The room was nice, although they put us on the Sun Tower side where the GRADWEEK kids were. Had... more

We enjoyed our hotel, we had no problem with our service. although we did prefer to eat inside the city instead of at the resort (the food was better tasting and priced). The pool was great. There wasn't a lot of beach and the waves were rough, this was probably because we visited in late August (close to hurricane season).... more

We come to Cancun regularly. Right now the hotel is empty, presumably because of flu fears. This morning not a sould was anywhere around any of the pools at 11am. Last night the room service guy said there had only been six calls for room service the entire day! Nonetheless we did not get upgraded. However the standard room was... more

This review is a little late, but we had a great time at the hotel so I definitely wanted to share. My wife took me to Cancun for my birthday at the end of March and we stayed at the Fiesta American. She was a little skeptical about staying there based on some of the negative reviews, but I had... more

WOW! Amazing! Spectacular! Gorgeous! This hotel has it all! One minute you feel like your in a tiki hut, and the next your in a rainforest! The endless pool was amazing and the rooms were perfect and cozy. The hotel is large and I never felt crowded. It is so nice being able to sit in the pool and look... more

First-timer to Mexico/Cancun... was beyond impressed with the FA Condesa from top to bottom. The staff was unbelievable, some of the nicest people I've ever met. Spent a LOT of time down by the amazing pool. This pool is fantastic, nice and warm, huge, a seperate area just for families, very shallow areas for sunbathing, and the waiters were all... more

I stayed with my husband for a quick get away without the kids. Was there April 5-9th. We had a Junior Suite in the Sea Tower on the 7th floor. PERFECT view! I watched the sun come up over the ocean evey morning. We thought the room was excellent, two baths that were totally up to date. We had 2... more

Just returned from Fiesta Americana, stayed April 12-17 with kids ages 10 and 13. We got a great deal by booking through Continental Vacations, which included round trip air, hotel, transfers to and from the airport, free buffet breakfast, and kids eat free. ($2,500 for 4 people). The hotel-so/so. Rooms were plain, beds hard, bathroom small, minibar expensive, room service... more

We spend 11 nights at the Fiesta Americana Condesa March 19-30 with our 18-year-old son. We were looking for a great deal to Mexico and we found it with Orbitz. I knew from reading some of the reviews that most of thethe beach was rocky and small but I figured my son could walk down the beach until he could... more
