My husband, myself and my 3 year old daughter got a cheap deal on a week's stay at this hotel, including breakfast, which is why we chose it. We found the overall atmosphere to be relatively clean and comfortable. I would say it was about 50 - 60% occupied, not too crowded, and with mostly families with kids. It is... more

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We included the breakfast but not the all-inclusive lunch/dinner--which we felt was a great move. It was wonderful to not to have to worry about breakfast but still have the flexibility to eat at the wonderful restaurants in the area. Free valet parking is wonderful and their service is excellent. Everyone... more

I know the title sounds crazy but compared to my last trip to the Riviera Maya, this trip has topped it. The hotel has very nice service and great staff. The only guy we had to worry about is the guy trying to get you to join the the club at the hotel. We kayaked for about an hour (non-motorized... more

We picked the Presidente because it was rated best beach in Cancun. That was true, although I will say there are few waves at this beach. It is protected by Isla Mujeres so the hurricanes of a few years ago did not effect this property. Many beaches in Cancun are rocky, some dangerous and some non-existent. The sand on this... more

The Presidente is a good value for the money. It boasts what is nowadays probably the best beach in Cancun: a wide strip of what’s left (see the stories about the hurricane) of Cancun’s renowned white and soft sand, and yes, you can walk about two hundred feet away from the shoreline, and still stick your head out of the... more

If you have young kids, this hotel is for you. The water is turquoise and only about 3 feet deep with no waves. It's basically a shallow swimming pool in the ocean. Reserve your rental car online before you go. You'll have to pay five times more if you try to rent there. The bus system is great but a... more

Stayed July 10-13. Four of us guys went for some R&R. Got a great deal on CUN package. Hotel: Great location. 10 mins walk to clubs and touristy shopping areas. 5 mins bus to many more shopping areas in hotel zone. 15 mins bus to downtown CUN. Room (857) was ok, but not at 4* caliber. separate vanity and bath.... more

I paid $119 a night for this hotel, and did not think it was value for money. We had pre-booked for three nights, but moved to Le Meridien after one, as we were so unhappy with the rooms (and we tried a few). The beach was absolutely amazing - calm water, and beautiful, but the hotel is really outdated. The... more

I chose this hotel based on my familiarity with the IC brand in the states, other TripAdvisor reviews, and the pictures posted by others. It ended up being a perfect stay, except for perhaps the food at the hotel. Rooms: Shower area was a little cramped, not a big deal at all though. Definitely not a standard IC hotel bathroom,... more

We spent 1 night here because we arrived really late to the airport and needed a clean place to stay before we headed off to Tulum. The hotel pictures and pictures of rooms are a bit misleading. The lobby looked like something that came from vegas in the 80s. We were on the bay side and the rooms were quite... more
