We stayed at the Hilton Cancun from May 16-22. Because of swine flu the place was practically empty and it was like having your own resort. Check-in was smooth as was check-out.
The room was on the 9th floor at the end of the wing. It was a bit stuffy at night. King size bed was very comfortable. The air... more

Spent 6 days at this resort, soooooo relaxing. I staying in an oceanfront villa, great view, close to the beach and great amenities. Breakfast provided in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Concierge service was great, drove me over to the villas, help me check in and showed me the amenities of the room. They also helped with return... more

I stayed at the Hilton in Cancun for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. I booked using an ongoing promotion for $99 / night, which included free breakfast and 30% off spa treatments. * Beach - All 5 days we were there, red flags were up meaning you shouldn't go in the water. There was a lifeguard on duty... more

Traveled to Cancun for four nights, and stayed two at the Hilton (stayed the first two at the Marriott). Compared to the Marriott, the Hilton was pretty crowded, though not overwhelmingly so. Pools: The Hilton pools are great, and is by far one of the best pool areas I've seen anywhere. Couple of things related to the pool could use... more

We just returned from a six night stay at the Hilton Cancun. Overall, it was a great experience. Below are details: Rooms: We booked an Oceanfront Villa, and were assigned the second one on the top floor from the pool. For the villas, the location was terrific and the views were unbelievable. We were traveling with our eight-year old son,... more

Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Mexico in the past couple of months, facilities at the hotel were reduced significantly to match the occupancy. These included the Villas lounge, some restaurants, and the spa hours as well. We have seen the comments, and we absolutely do not want our guests to feel like they got less value. Every attempt was...

We stayed for four days and three nights. Service was excellent and the facilities were great. My advice is to check in, head to the pool/beach area and don't leave until the last minute before your flight home! Prices at the pool bar and pool side restaurant are very reasonable. We got great recommendations for restaurants from the concierge. We... more

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Cancun in May of 2009. We enjoyed our stay very much. Here is a quick list of facts based on our stay: 1. BEACH: Yes there IS a beach, people who say there is no beach must have stayed at some other hotel or need a new pair of glasses. PLENTY of... more

Our beach is something we are most proud of: we have the most beach of any hotel on the peninsula. Depending on the time of year, the waves may be a little rough but there are lifeguards who keep an eye on currents and safe swimming areas. Our pool complex is also one of our best features, and we are...

We stayed for two nights here at the beginning and end of our trip. Both times were exceptional! The rooms were large and comfortable with amazing views of the turquoise ocean and pools. We dined in the little grillside patio and the beachside restaurant. The menu was sophisticated and upscale and the food was elegantly served! The grounds were clean,... more

I have to start off by saying we learned you can take a taxi ride to/from the Hilton to the aiport for $15 USD each way. You can walk down the hill a few steps from the Hilton bell desk and negotiate a rate with the drivers. Our favorite taxi driver was Felipe Gomez (who sometimes parks it in front... more

We booked for a very good price and feel that we got more than we paid for. The pool and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The lobby was also prettier in real life than in photos. Our room was clean and comfortable, nothing spectacular but on the good side of average. The beach was pretty but as previous reviewers... more
