First impression on arriving at the hotel was not so good. The hotel lobby was very out dated and shabby. Check in was fast and easy . When taken to our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms, although very basic, were spacious and very clean. Fresh towels are provided daily if you desire and beach towels are available from... more

I am a 21 year old male from England so can cope with pretty poor conditions if I have to, but this hotel was awful. God knows how its rated as a 3 star by mexican hotel standards. Every hotel we drove past coming from the airport were really beautiful and well kept, we arrived at dos playas and first... more

I have just returned from 10 days in Mexico . The last 2 days were spent at Dos Playas. I am happy the major part of my vacation was not spent at Dos Playas. Here is a list of the the items which made this property unrecommendable 1. Even though we made our reservation Dec. 2006, we received room #... more

We arrived at the Dos Playas reception to a warm welcome. I went away with 3 other girls and had booked two double rooms. When checking in we were told there were no adjoining rooms but if we came back at 12noon the next day they would move us so we were all together. In the end we didn't even... more

I stayed in the Dos Playas in June, and went out with 11 other lads. Cancun itself was amazing and I would highly recommend visiting. Great nightlife, weather and beaches. However the Dos Playas leaves much to be desired. Firstly the food is repetitive, badly cooked and uses some pretty bad quality ingredients. I am not a fussy eater and... more

Waited half an hour at the hotel as Dos Playas didnt even know we were staying there, got to the reception, no welcome what so ever, was just given our wrist bands and sent to our room which was absolutely tiny, very... more
