We had a wonderful time at the Le Meridien! We are what some people would call "hotel snobs" and we truly had nothing to complain about at this hotel. First of all, the rate was fantastic. I am not sure if it was because of the Swine Flu scare or it being the off season, but we got a great... more

I have to say that being as selective as we can be, this place always amazes us. The facility, the beautiful white-sand beaches, breath-taking turquoise waters, great food, but most importantly the staff keeps us coming back every year. Yeah, yeah..some think that Cancun is only a place for young springbrakers, but they should reconsider. However, you MUST choose the... more

This was my third trip to this hotel in Cancun over the last 10 years. It is still a well run establishment and consistenly provides a very good experience for my visits. I am a 45 yr old professional male and enjoy nice hotels whenever I get the chance to travel. The Meridian is a nice hotel. The grounds and... more

I traveled to this Starwood property for a wedding which was held on the premises. It is a couple miles from the main tourist zone in Cancun, which is nice in that it's generally quiet. But you can just hop onto a bus for less than a dollar to reach the shopping and nightlife. It's recessed from the main drag... more

We just got back from a weeks stay at Le Meridien. As SPG members we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with two balconies. The front desk manager was very helpful and polite. The pool attendant, Juan, was always there to put towels on chairs and in cabanas. He also came around with shots of smoothies, fresh cut fruit,... more

you walk into the lobby and check in and it's nice, nothing unusual for a 4 star hotel. alot of marble. the lobby bar is a great place to hang out after you've had too much sun all day. the restaurant situation is...okay. more for convenience than pleasure. i never tried their room service. the pool area is lovely, not... more

We stay at Le Meridien en route to Isla Mujeres on May 23. They let us check in early (10:30am) on a Saturday and then let us check out late on Sunday (5pm). The concierge guy was fantastic and gave us great recommendation for restaurants (he has personally dined at almost all the restaurants up & down the strip). The... more

Good: As SPG guests we were upgraded to a suite with living room, however, they didnt give us an ocean view room despite the fact they were only 2% occupancy due to flu scare (that was cheap of them). The hotels inside lobby and Aioli restaurant service staff was excellent. Violete in the lounge, Aracella front desk, and Antonio manager... more
