I would have given this hotel a better rateing if the front desk people would have been more polite and helpful. I wasn't at all a jerk tourist they just acted like they didn't want to do more than they where asked. The women behind the desk where helpful though. The lady bartender was very nice woman too. We've stayed at the Best Western Plaza Caribe several times in order to catch early flights out of Cancún. However, on our last visit (6/13/03) we booked two rooms, one of which was acceptable and one of which was practically uninhabitable due to mould, mildew, and an unpleasant odour.
