We were here the year after the hurricane. The place was a wreck but we expected an improvement the following year for sure, 2008. What a shock, every other hotel & condo in Cancun seemed to be able to get it together and have their repairs 99% done. Not Las Brisas. We dreaded going back to our rooms, they were... more

We were very hesitant to stay in La Brisas after all the negative reviews on this site, but after contacting a few references from Tripadvisor.com we decided to give it a chance. We are very happy we did! We rented a unit # 4209 from Zlatko and Mila. It was amazing!!! The apartment was clean, recently renovated, well taken care... more

We booked a condo for our vacation as we just wanted a base where we could chill out and run our own schedules. This is what we got. Its not a luxury hotel, nor does it profess to be, it is exactly what it says it wil be. Yes there is still some Hurricane damage and minor work being carried... more

We spent Easter week here during 2006. We sat outside the unit for over an hour waiting for the key - then another hour while they sort of cleaned the unit. To open the door, you had to unlock it, then lift up while shoving as hard as possible with your shoulder. If you were lucky, it would open half... more

We found the residents at the condo very friendly at first then it was a shock to find all types of criminal type lurking around. We were offered all types of drugs for sale and we found one man was trying to lure our young's girl into his room. She is only 9 years old. When we went to the... more

We booked this Condo Thru Price-tavel here on-Line. Don;t belive any of the photos that are posted, and don't trust the travel agency when they tell you that this place is 100% functional. If you want to stay in a nice, safe, clean place for vacation, STAY AWAY!! We had three condos booked, because we were tavelling as a family... more

We had a great time. In fact this was the best trip I have taken with my kids! I am a single father, and took my 4 kids to Cancun for spring break, 10, 12, 14, and 18! Yes, I am little nuts, but I have never let the fact that I am a single Dad stop me from having... more

There is no question that Hurricane Wilma caused a lot of damage to Cancun last October. However, I felt compelled to write this review because although the two following negative reviews may have been true in January, they are not now. Infact, the one with the 3 photos is a bit misleading because one of the photos was not even... more

We booked this hotel in October before Hurricane Wilma blew in. We kept in correspondance with "John Pierre B" who is the person we booked hotel through. It took almost 5 weeks before we recieved an e-mail after Wilma but one week before leaving on our trip we recieved an e-mail from John Pierre stating that the hotel reconstruction was... more

I booked one of the penthouse condos from a private party through greatrentals(-) back in early October 2005 (pre-Wilma). After the hurricane, I called the owners directly to find out how the building and condo held up. I was assured that the unit was in great shape and the building, while sustaining some blown out windows was rapidly being repaired.... more
