Hi there, I have to agree with the 63-year old lady's reviews of this hotel. It's a budget hotel, people, and you get what you pay for. In this case, the price was great! We were quite willing to take a cheaper hotel so we would have money for excursions around the peninsula. And, really, the hotel is just fine... more

I booked a holiday for 2 weeks with my girlfriend in imperial Laguna We arrived in Cancun at midday after an 11 hour flight from Ireland, when the bus turned off the main road and drove through the ghetto I nearly died, . once off the bus the smell was unbearable and the so called hotel looked like council flats... more

I'm 63 and went to Cancun by myself looking for a quiet, inexpensive, but unique hotel. Especially for the money, this fit my needs perfectly. I had a 4th floor room one unit away from the street but still had an amazing view of the pool, thatched roof restaurant, beautiful lagoon, and the high-rise hotel skyline in the distance. This... more

This was a free nights accomodation booked through Airtours but they should have paid us to stay in it. I would rather have spent the night in the jungle with no mosquito net. The bedroom door looked like someone had attacked it with a machete but it make for a pretty light pattern on the ceiling when trying to sleep.... more

Having read the reviews on tripadvisor for the Imperial Laguna hotel I was very apprehensive about staying at the hotel. However I was greatly surprised and delighted by this hotel. The rooms where very big, shower was huge, balcony was nice – bar the air conditioning unit of the next room was in a bad place just over our balcony... more

I do not understand these negative reviews of this hotel. It is a great little hotel with friendly service, clean rooms and everything you could ask for the price. My daughter and I stayed there for a week and had a wonderful time. The pool was clean and warm. The personnel catered to all our wishes and requests. We didn’t... more

If your looking for luxury stay away. If your looking for a clean hotel with basic facilitys and friendly staff who speak english well and your willing to carry your bags up flights of stairs (no lift) into a room thats clean and basic but with everything you need (if you dont want to cook) then this hotel is fine.... more

First off this hotel is really cheap and after staying here, I understand--you get what you pay for! The hotel has a GREAT location, close to downtown, close to a market, close to the busstop!!! The hotel has a TINY pool, however it was always very clean and never crowded. Here is the BAD/HORRIBLE/GROSS part: Our room-2nd floor, didn't even... more
