We stayed AI for 2 weeks in Jan. 2005. According to the descriptions of the hotel it should be one of the most exclusive resorts in Cancun, but service and particularly the food don't correspond to this claim. My husband and I stayed at Villas Tacul in April of '04 and booked a two bedroom suite, which was a little pricey, but what the heck. I greatly enjoyed Villas Tacul for a two-night stay in Cancun. The city itself was a bit too toursty and by the second morning I was ready to move on to Merida. But Villas was way cool. The Villas were a little shady. Security wont let other people or booze in your Villa unless you bribe them to get stuff in.
