I enjoyed my stay at "Club Verano Beat". It is not on the grand scale by any means. It felt like a family ran hotel and I felt very safe there. The room I was in was on the 1st. floor and had air-conditioning units. One did not work well when we turned it on. I called the front desk... more

This was my first trip to Mexico and was a bit nervous by the whole adventure. After being bombarded at the airport and terrorized on the shuttle, by the time we got to the hotel we originally booked (Las Perlas) I was a bit frazzled. We were told by a somewhat rude and insensative man at the front desk of... more

If you want an all inclussive so that you can stay at the hotel and lay out on the beach, don't stay here. If you want the typical American beer drinking party while laying out outside the hotel, spend the big bucks buddy. Look, I'm very pleased with this hotel, but I didn't come here for the beach. We just... more

Our group of 20 people stayed here July 2-4, 2006. "Beat" is the perfect word for this place. Bath water temperature pool with lots of stray hairs & unidentifiable white chunks of...?? There's no beach behind the hotel...it's one of the docks for the boat launches to places like Isla Mujeres. One look and you'll see that you'll be taking... more

Booked this hotel on the internet. The first couple of days were great, basic hotel but clean. However we had problems with the toilets blocking up, it took hours for anyone to come and look at it and at no point were we offered alternative room, this happened at least three times while on the 10 day trip. Any other... more

Club Verano Beat was a quaint, real Mexican hotel; not some corporate American version of a hotel. If you want a Mexican experience in Mexico, this hotel is for you. The room was fine, the bed was horrible, but the people that worked at Club Verano Beat were amazing. They were friendly, happy, and very accommodating. My friend and I... more

I am only writing this as this hotel seems to have a lot of negative feedback. Originally I was not supposed to be staying it this hotel but was moved here at the last minute and was quite concerned after reading other reviews. Personally I thought the place was fine, don't get me wrong it’s not the Ritz but it... more
