Cancun Inn El Patio is clean -- that's about the best I can say about it. Of course cleanliness is important when you're staying at a budget hotel in a Third World country. You can expect zero ammenities -- no bottled water or shampoo. They give you two small sandpapery towels placed on the bed spread and under the remote... more

Well, this guests obviously didn't take the time to enjoy the place nor did they ask for the "ammenities": Available: Bottled water, shampoo , conditioner, body lotion, hair dryer, iron, special internet , books and film room. Manager speaks French, Spanish and English and is happy to help if guests needs SPECIAL attention. There are many photos of our rooms...

After reading the good reviews of El Patio we were a bit disappointed. The location isn't so good, on a busy road with a construction site opposite. El Patio seems like my kind of place. Mid-range, small hotel. I like unique buildings and owners on site. I'd rather go to an individual property vs a chain. I like to be a bit off the beaten path for some quiet, yet close enough to walk to stuff. Hotel kitties are a plus. El Patio has all that. We... more

My wife & I have stayed at El Patio 5 times since 2002. The last stay was September 2008 with our 15-year old granddaughter. We have stayed at Hiltons, Hyatts, Sheratons and other top-rated hotels in more than a dozen countries. Before 2002, we stayed at another hotel in Cancun. Now, we would not consider any place except El Patio.... more

We enjoyed our stay in Cancun and El Patio very much, the hotel was everything the website promised. It was VERY clean, very spacious room, lots of hot water. We would stay there again, the staff was very helpful and friendly. And the price was excellent. Totally recommend! more

If planning on visiting Cancun this is defenitely the best getaway. Excellent service and hospitality. A petit mexican hotel with beautiful courtyard covered with exotic plants. Loved it. more

I really enjoyed staying my last night in downtown Cancun at this hotel. The room was very clean and the staff "the best". This hotel is very close to the bus station which is a plus. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cancun Inn - Suites El Patio. The staff was warm and welcoming, the courtyard was charming, and we found our stay very relaxing. It was a great base for our exploration of Cancun and the surrounding area. more
