We spent 5 days at Royal Solaris Cancun, and had a great time. The staff is super friendly, the price was great, and we love the food as well. The sea was pretty rough, but we managed to still swim there. The room was a little humid at times, but I don't think the hotel is to blame for that.... more

I have read many reviews prior to going. I am not a picky person so I did not let them sway me one way or another. The Caribe tower is where I was booked but it was closed. The ride from the airport to the hotel is quick we were dropped off at the first building that had a big... more

Booked into Royal Solaris from Jun 25 to 29. Reading the negative reviews prior to my departure made me apprehensive about my reservation with Royal Solaris. Therefore, I felt compelled to share my experience. Arrived and checked in at 2pm without a fuss. I was personally greeted at the lobby by a host and guided to the check in area.... more

We went with nine family members and friends, including one small child. We all wanted something easy for this trip so we booked Royal Solaris for the all inclusive food/drink and kid friendly pool. We arrived first and they told us they did not have our king size with balcony that we had reserved and paid for in advance. Being... more

My wife and I traved to the Royal Solaris in October of 2008. This was our second trip to Cancun and we did not want to spend a great deal of money this time around becuse we planned on taking sevral tours. This is a good hotel to use as a base if you plan on seeing the true Mexico... more

I just want to start out by saying that I am shocked at all of the negative reviews that are posted. Most of these people must be wanting a 5 star resort at a 3 star price. Anyway, where do begin? This is my 5th time to Cancun and 3rd to Royal Solaris. Just so you all know I am... more

Overall, this was a great place to go and fit the price and mood of the vacation we were looking for. Check-in/accommodations: Easy transport from the airport, booked through Gray Line. We were offered a $30/day ocean view upgrade at the desk, or a $70/day ocean view with a terrace and a hot tub for 2. $40 cash tip to... more

My husband and I booked this trip to take our 3 kids on their first "out of the country" vacation. I called the resort directly and made our reservations through the Get Away Program. We got a discounted rate for attending a 90 minute presentation wanting us to become members of the resort. Let me start by saying we are... more

Just returned from a trip to Cancun at the Royal Solaris. Enyjoyed the stay but be careful of the hotel security. Do not wonder around by yourself. Food was okay - better than I thought after reading other reviews. The beach front was excellent!!!! The pool was a little loud for my taste but the partiers seemed to enjoy the... more

I read literally dozens of reviews on here before booking my trip back in April and felt I should repay the favor as I always refer here before traveling. If you're thinking whether the price is too good to be true, it is! Reading the negative reviews both before and after, you have to realize that anywhere, anytime, anyplace there... more
