I chose the all inclusive package for this hotel which is the way to go. The staff is excellent. The greet you by name and remember your favorite drink. Very on top of things. My husband and I traveled to Cancun last week and our stay at the Omni was great! After our horrible experience at the Cancun airport (with all of the timeshare sales people) arriving at the Omni was a big relief. We went as a family with 9 and 4 year olds. The pools were nice with daily activities. The food was fantastic, all inclusive included room service which is great with kids. Rooms were beautiful as well as the grounds. No kids club, that was disappointing and lots of people trying to sell you timeshares but we did the hour... more
This hotel is more for families than going with friends as there are kids at the pool, etc. But the rooms were very clean and had balconies so that was very nice. Also the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely consider going here next time. more

My new husband and I stayed at the Omni from June 6-13, 2009. Weather at this time was hot and steamy, but bearable! Load up on sunscreen, friends! Thank you for you comments and do understand your frustration regarding the beach areas in our destination. As mentioned in previous posts, the Federal, State and Local governments are in the final planning stages to start the beach recuperation project, which will enhance the coast line of Cancun and bring back the full beautiful white sandy beaches that we have...
