The Golden Parnassus is a All-Inclusive hotel that is absolutely wonderful. I must give an extra thank-you to Reyna at the hotel lobby and to Sonia the pool-side waitress. We stayed at the Golden Parnassus from January 31 to February 7, 2009 and loved it. Yes the Hotel is "tired" but very clean and the staff put it over the top for service. The good- servers were great and accomodating, nice pool area, wonderful view from the balcony, rooms were clean. A very relaxed atmosphere. The not so good- The desk staff wasn't the greatest. The building itself is old but in good condition, very well maintained and clean. The restaurants and the food are very good, except the "Old Barn". The food was low class in comparison with the other restaurants, the steaks are okay after you send them back. The bars are okay and the staff is very attentive. The beach... What beach??... more

Was a guest at the hotel from Jan 20 to 29, 2009. Food was good and staff was good. The only problems were the lounge chairs not enough, pool water should be warmer and hot tub was chilly. Beach needs improvements as the drop off to the water was at least 2 feet and was dangerous when exiting the water.... more
