Just got back from a week in Cancun. We stayed at the Royal Caribbean (three years ago we stayed at one of their sister resorts, the Royal Sands). I can't say enough about the staff at the resort--always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Mexico is not known for having comfortable beds, and the Royal is no... more

Great trip and Great place to stay. The villas are nice, a little dated, but clean and comfertable. No bed bugs! Great view. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the long hike to the main road. Normally wouldn't be that big of a problem, but there are ginormous iguanas that are on the side of the... more

Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and had a great stay. It was right after the Swine Flu scare, so the resort was empty. We went on the Chichen Itza tour. We chose the Express tour that was less costly because it was a couple of hours shorter since it didn't include a snorkel stop. It was the best because... more

We had another great relaxing time at the Royal Caribbean!! We only went out once this time and spent most of the time within the resort which was very relaxing and very nice. The Royal Caribbean is between 2 other royal resorts (Royal Mayan and Royal Islander). We get to use the services from all 3 resorts. They also have... more

Great view from the balcony! I loved this hotel. The service was great. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and extremely helpful. I was so impressed by the service. The pool was great; it was never crowded although the chairs along the pool were often taken in the select spots. The beach needs improvement and disappears when there is high... more

Just returned from a wonderful week at The Royal Caribbean. We recently purchased a week there so this was our first visit there as owners. Yes, the beach was full of rocks. We knew that going in. Everything else was simply amazing. Villa – the villas are spacious and well equipped. We are a family of 4 so our kids... more

My boyfriend and I go on vacation every year, this time we picked Cancun and stayed at the Royal Caribbean. I found the room to be wonderful. We had a two bedroom suite, with a full kitchen. I only wish we could of found a couple of friends to bring with us to share this much space. Room was F... more

The rooms in this place are incredible! We had a full villa and it was spacious and clean. The pools are heated (also heated at the Islander, but NOT at the Mayan) Of the three resorts the Caribbean has the largest kids pool, but none had any slides or play areas in the pool. There are several daily activities for... more

No internet in the room, 2008, no business office, computers in grocery store, all two of them....have to go to lobby, or get lucky on deck to use computer... Beach is gone, like after hurricane Wilma, dangerous. We came after Wilma hit, things have been rebuilt, for the most part. We watched them bring the sand to the beach, but... more

My husband & I stayed a week at the Royal Caribbean in November 08. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of this resort. Our villa was spotless, we had maid service daily. We happened to be in our villa twice when she arrived, she offered to come back another time but we did not mind her being there when... more
