I only stayed at Hotel El Rey del Caribe for one night, but was impressed by the experience. It's a lovely little hotel with a gorgeous jungle-like courtyard. TripAdvisor had recommended this hotel so we booked with Bestday.com and were so disappointed. The room was dark and not updated. The bathroom had a compostable toilet that didn't work well.
