I picked this hotel as I was hoping it would be roomier, cleaner and better value for money than hotels I had previously stayed in when visiting New York. I was delighted with my stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was a view of the statue of liberty and Manhattan skyline from our room which was just a... more

I decided to plan a trip to NYC for my girlfriend's birthday. Early on I noticed the high prices and low ratings of NYC city hotels. I began to check the surrounding areas and thank God I found this place! The price was very affordable, the location was better than any NYC hotel with the PATH station located 20 steps... more

We've just returned from a fantastic trip to New York. The Hyatt Regency was a wonderful hotel and perfect as a base to travelling around NYC. The rooms were lovely, clean and big. The carpet was little grubby but that didnt really matter. The staff were lovely and helpful! The shower was the highlight, really powerful! great after a hard... more

Absolutely a great stay. We used it for a one day stop in NYC. Dropped our bags at the hotel and they called us as soon as our room was ready. It is a perfect spot to get over to the city. The PATH train is right outside which is a 5-10 min ride into NYC. We got on the... more

We stayed here from Oct 16th - 20th. The hotel was great. View of Manhattan superb! Concierge, business center, and small store on site (snacks. meds, small stuff). CVS pharmacy and a restaraunt in the financial center also next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful for our first visit to NYC. We stayed here due to prior reviews... more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt - Jersey City, and absolutely LOVED IT! We only had 2 nights together as he was scheduled to leave for Iraq the following Monday. Check-in was a breeze......our room was beautiful.....our view of the Manhattan skyline was INCREDIBLE! My favorite part of the hotel has to be the piers surrounding it.... more

Stayed for 3 nights at the Hyatt Regency in October. Fantastic Hotel, one of the best we have stayed in for a city break. The bedroom was extremely large, and very well furnished, very clean, also very quiet bedrooms - no noise distrubance. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Fantastic views of the Manhattan... more

We stayed at this hotel for four nights in October. Overall, the hotel is a great value and I would definitely stay there again. The hotel is located right outside of the NJ Path train station, and is a 3 minute ride to downtown New York. The train runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is another... more

We just returned from a trip to NYC with our stay at the Hyatt in Jersey City. I was nervous about the commute between Jersey City and Manhattan, but it was no problem at all. The Exchange Place PATH station is right outside the hotel and the trains run consistently. You can take the train to the lower end of... more

Hotel is easy to access and rooms are very modern & clean. Loved the black, white and grey-tone decor. But the lobby was disappointing...drab and certainly doesn't evoke a feeling of awe. Seems more like an airport lobby. VERY convenient location to the PATH train. Just step out the front door and take a few steps to the left, making... more
