There is nothing about this place that I don't love. Food was excellent and everyone was so attentive and helpful. Strip mall location was odd but the ambiance inside made up for it. Band on Sat night was wonderful! more
other than the beautiful trajes tipicas (the dresses the hostesses wear) this place is an embarrassment to Mexican food. It's not even good Tex-Mex. If it were here in Texas the governor would have the CEO replaced. we avoid it like the plague more
Slow, inept service, and mediocre to awful food. "Complimentary" stale tortilla chips with watery dips of unknown content. They can't even do a decent beef fajita. It's presented like a Chinese stir fry....the few peppers and onions mixed in with the beef, and the tough meat was steamed...not grilled, and totally devoid of flavour. We went to this place on the first day of our trip (Dec 19 2008). The restaurant is in la isla shopping village. We were hoping for decent mexican food. The decor was decent. But the drinks and food was expensive and terrible. They try to take photos guests with mexican hats and try to sell it for 20 USD.... more
Absolutely rubbish - tacky pseudo mexican with bland food, weak cocktails and limited selection of beers. Expensive for what it is but what would you expect in the middle of a shopping centre. Avoid. more
Great decor, good service, music, above average Mexican food at fair prices and the ability to seat a group of 16 will have me back next time in Cancun. more
