I felt compelled to write this after reading some other reviews of Perico's. First, all of Cancun is a tourist trap and Perico's is no exception. Second, of course there is lots of "upselling" as it is a tourist trap. Third, if you are shy or just want a quiet peaceful meal, simply don't even consider going here. Finally, if... more

If you don't take a trip into downtown cancun to eat at Perico's, you've missed a once in a lifetime quality dining experience. The most fun our extended family had at dinner in long time. Unique is the best way to put it. From the method of the food delivery, to the staff involvement in song, dance, and gags with... more

I was very disappointed w/ Perico's. My sister and I went there after it was recommended to us by some people I met on the shuttle to the hotel. We arrived and I didn't realize it was going to be such a tourist trap so right away I was taken aback! They forced us into Mexican dresses and made us... more

We been to Perico's about a half dozen times over the years. Last week we there and I ordered the grilled fish and my husband ordered the mixed brochette which was approx. 14.50 USD. The waiter (Marco) brought him the most expensive dish on the menu which was double lobster tails, shrimp and fish and cost 41.00 USD. The waiter... more

It was a great time with a group of good friends. Very entertaining and the food was excellent. I had chicken my husband had surf & turf. We found the prices reasonable and service very good. We will definitely go back next trip. more

Maybe you need to come with a large group to get in the mood here. They try hard, but it just wasn't our scene. Food was just ok. Nothing special at all. Expensive to get here from hotel zone too. $20 each way by taxi. more

If you like lots of loud music, skits, and practical jokes, this is the place for you. The staff walk around with drinks and food trays balanced on their heads and perform skits with costumes. Staff tries to upsell everything - including photographs and red roses (that didn't even last one night). The service is SO SLOW because the servers... more

This is a fun spot outside the hotel zone in Cancun. It is lots of fun, especially for the kids. Soon as you go in they dress you up in traditional Mexican attire and take an old fashion photo. The rest of the night is fun with tequila shots and conga lines. The kids had a great time and the... more

We have been to Perico's twice, which is downtown away from the resort area. We had a great time but the food itself is only average. It isn't air conditioned and it gets pretty hot inside but that's because you are usually up dancing. We went with a big group and our kids loved the way they get the crowd... more
