if your girls love swimming in pools you made a great pick, if your girls love to swim in the sea ,not so good. moon palace beach has alot of sea grass and the water is greenish not the blue like cancun. the moon palace is a very large resort with alot to do.

Moon is not on the Cancun strip and has a huge pool. Spring break in Cancun is crazy, the Moon is more family and not as crazy for young teens like yours. But don't get me wrong, were ever there is free drinks there will be drunks!

Like the other poster said there is alot to do at Moon but the beach is not that great so one day take the shuttle to Sun or Cancun Palace and use their beach.

Staying at Moon means you can go to other Palace resorts and use their facilites and eat and drink for free, just head back to Moon with your girls before the craziness starts! usually 9 or 10 pm.

Before Wilma Cancun Palace had lockers and showers for guest who came from other Palace Resorts, not sure now with the remodel if they still do.

Very simple - Pool and the "better of the 2" food people? Moon Palace

Beach people? Barcelo Tropical hands down!

Our friends go to Barcelo beach and after seeing their photos of how crowded the resort was, I mean really crowded, we all decided to go to Moon Palace. After doing 3 excursions, we will also spend one day at Sun Palace ane one day at Cancun Palace for beaches to round out our trip.
