Lin, Regarding the cost for AI at the Omni, I believe it is $110 dollars per adult, per day. Children as young as your son are much less, obviously. I investigated this because my wife and I will be going there in November. I got this info by calling Omnis main 1-800 number. Sorry, don't recall the number exactly, just go to the Omni Hotel website, thats where I got it. It looks like a beautiful hotel. Good Luck, whatever you do. Have a great vacation!!

ggod point about the service, i have read that too and it is a nice touch.

We are paying $75 per adult per day for AI. We get a slightly reduced price as members and paying in advance. (I don't think it's reduced much.) Kids under 6 are free I think. I don't know the price for 6 - 18. It's less than adult because that age can't have alcohol.

actually it is reduced, i emailed the resort and i actually just got a response back. they said that it was 99 if you by at least 3 night other wse it 115 u.s. thanks for your info, have a great time ont he beach... sigh..... enjoy the rest of your trip. if you have any pics that you can email me after i would love to see what the place really looks like.

I have pictures up at webshots. I think you can find them by typing in a search for nancyinmichigan. We aren't taking pictures this trip. We've been here so many times, and we aren't going out to do anything so no photos.

thanks for the link, i am looking at them right now! so do you have to get up at the crack of dawn to get chairs at the pool? is this resoer a busy crowed resort? is there ample shade to sit under with kids, and shady areas that you don't have to fight for???

do they serve the beer in bottles or draft? what kind of brands too?

Omni also has room service included in the AI.... we used it several times & it was very good. If your baby is sleeping you can enjoy a good meal & drinks on your balcony, or in your room.

The cost will vary, but if you have a package for "membership," you should get the member rate which is about $71 per adult.

Omni has shaded beach beds that you can get by the day, cheap for members. No chair wars, either. Top shelf alcohol, by the bottle. Wait service on the beach, including lunch.
