I'm just wondering how tough it is to book with Joe's Jeep Adventure at the last minute. We're going mid-January and it's always nice to know that you've booked on a good-weather day. Will we have problems waiting until we're down there to book?

Thanks for the question Suzie. I was just thinking the same thing. We are leaving this Thursday. Will I have a problem booking when we arrive?

In January I would definetly book in advance (High season)
This coming week you should be fine but i think you can book online or contact them at jeepadventures dot com dot mx to make sure.
Hello all,
It's usually best to book in advance to ensure your spot on the tour. I know Joe limits the number of people which is part of the reason it's so great, very personal attention from the fabulous tour guide Carlos. Especially in January when things are so busy, you may want to pre-book. If you are coming next week and have at least some idea when you might want to do the tour, drop an email to Joe as a head's up. Cunspin is right on the money in terms of the website, there is an online form there that you can fill out and get a response back pretty quickly.
Cheers and enjoy the tour, I loved it and can't wait to go again with hubby. (I actually had a zipline dream the other night, weird! Not sure if they would actually let me take my six month old baby on the zip, but he sure enjoyed it in my dream!)
Hi suzieCue and McRitt,
It is better to book in advance or at least let us know who you are and when you are coming so we can be a little prepared. We can be flexible on the days and wait till you arrive to schedule a set dat if you like. For those that book online in advance, you save twenty dollars per person compared to our local price once you arrive so it is strongly suggested to let us know in advance. Just a simple email letting us know you are interested in the tour and are from TA will be enough to honor the online price for you. The local price went up because we are going to begin selling the tour through some of the local travel agencies. We will still give you the online price if you just let us know in advance. Have a wonderful trip!
And thanks cunspin and Cancuck for posting the information. You are always a great help and an asset to this board!
Thanks for the tips. I'm not sure what I'd do without this forum.

I dont' understand what this jeep tour really does. It looks like it does a lot. How long does it last and what are the prices.. does anyone know?? thanks
The tour is about 7.5 hours, you see ruins with literally thousands of iguans, drive through the jungle, do a zip line, go into a cool cenote under the roots of a tree, visit Puerto Morelos and the Crococun zoo whereyou can pet crocodiles and monkeys and other cool interactions with the animals. It is a great day, I had way too much fun. Price is $99, but Joe offers a discount if you book online through his website.
You can search it here on TA for some really positive reviews with some good details about what you get to see.
