I have never used one before but was thinking to rent one this time for 30 minutes. I hope the water is not choppy for me since I am not a good swimmer but those jackets should hold me If I goes into the water for some reason.. 45$ is not bad for 30 minutes and can you have 2 person on it for 45$...or its per person...

Are there any calmer parts of cancun to rent jet skiis where the water wont be as choppy? I'll be at Aqua and not quite sure how close it is to hotel zone. Is hotel zone the only place for water sports?

It's ocean (sea) folks. Oceans tend to be choppy. There is a place in Cancun that has LOTS calmer water. It's called Cozumel.

In front of the Intercontinental it's $45 for 30 minutes and the water was extremely calm. In front of the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral it's $55 for 30 minutes and also extremely calm water. This is the first time ever in 10 years they were absolutely unwilling to barter!:*( It's very strange because even the Tiffany's store in Luxury Avenue was negotiating.

i would check at aqua world, maybe they have it in the lagoon. the ocean gets very choppy and if you can't swim that well you have to go out pretty far. you can't ride where people swim. i am not sure this sounds like something very safe for you do do in the ocean. but it is a blast.
