 Eats?

Has anyone eaten at Lorito Joe's, La Fisheria, or Savio's. How was it? I pulled up the menus off the net and they looked good, but anyone can put it in writing........

Never eat or drink anything in Cancun.

It will render your bowels useless.

Hola ryvy. The Anorexic's Guide To Mexican Paradise! All supermodels get in line. Actually I've eaten many fantastic meals in Mexico, I just havn't been to Cancun for 15 years. I wasn't worried about the safety angle, just whether the food at these restaurants tasted good or not.

I know. I'm sorry. I was in Cancun last month but didn't eat at any of those places. Oddly enough, the first time I was in Cancun was fifteen years ago. This month in fact.

Ok rvyv. When you were in Cancun last where did YOU eat? I know the Cozumel restaurants very well, but I don't know anything about Cancun. Thank you

Stayed at the Hilton. Had the breakfast buffet each day. Ate at the resort in the evening a couple of times. Ate at a cafe at Isla Mujeres a couple of times. Ate at Margaritaville a couple of times. Decent food but nothing romantic or upscale about it. Ate at a restaurant overlooking the lagoon at sunset one night. Very good but I don't recall the name right now. Uhhh....that's all I can remember right now. Sorry, I guess I'm really not much help on this thread.

thats ok E for effort right. I got a free trip for two and then I paid to bring our adult daughters with us. It is AI, which I have never done before,(I usually just rent a house). I've been told that the food at the place we are staying is pretty tasteless so I was just looking for a great place to eat in case the hotel food is as bad as I am hearing. Thanks

The Mexican Rest. in La Isla shopping mall is good and inexpensive (compared to other restaurants). It is called something like La CAsa de Margaritas.

We ate at another on in La Isla called La Madonna. I've seen others review it on here and the consensus is that is is good, but very, very pricey. Probably not worth the money they charge, but the atmosphere is really great. Good is a little above average.

We also at at the Thai Lounge in La Isla. Awesome atmosphere, but again pricey. Food was good but portions were smallish. This is a really neat place, though. I would recommend going here once for the atmosphere at least.

These are the places most recent in my memory. If I think of others I'll let you know.
