“ Omni Cancun - need update ”

I have a trip planned with 18 others to the Omni Cancun Resort - we are supposed to go Nov 12 - I would appreciate if anyone could give me a status update on the hotel. Thank you in advance!

We are members at the Omni. I know several of the employees and I have been trying to get emails and telephone calls through with no luck. If I hear anyting I will let you know. My parents are planning to go over Thanksgiving.

The Omni sits pretty high and I doubt it is flooded. You may be able to go if Mexico gets the power grid up soon.

I also had a trip scheduled to the Omni for November 4. I finally got information from the 1-800-OMNI number. The person I spoke to said they would be canceling reservations up to December 23. They would be contacting us by email if they had our email address. Give them a call. The person I spoke to did not know the extent of the damage. Good luck!

Our wedding is suppose to be here Feb. 11. Our reception is suppose to be at the beach bar Kuku's. I'm pretty sure that is gone.

moko,

don't give up too quick on the omni for February. A lot can be done between now and February.

I spent a lot of time in Kuku's in december of 2004. Planned on spending a lot of time there this year too, but we're gonna have to post pone, thanks to wilma.

omni told us december 23rd as well.
