Which of the Oasis Hotels (besides The Grand)is the best to stay at?

I'm 28, first time to Cancun.

We just stayed at the Grand Oasis/Oasis. I'm 28 also and did not enjoy the crowd or service at that location. If I were you I would try to stay at the Oasis beach or playa. If your only goal is to be drunk the whole time go to the oasis grand. Personally I would recommend a different hotel chain altogether even if it means spending a couple of hundred dollars more.

Tam22...when are you going? I was at the Grand last year during the first week of April.....full of spring breakers as in 18 year olds, who are almost all confined to two run down wings of this resort....the Grand is nothing like the regular Oasis and I would go back in a minute. However, when you go out to the pool area, just know its full of 18 year olds who look like they have never been away from home......

I'm back again this year April 17-24 and this time I am staying at the Golden Crown Paradise Spa, almost all reviews are 5 out of 5 and it is costing $1000 Canadian including taxes direct from toronto. This resort also has NO kids which is a bonus and is 200 rooms so a bit smaller and higher end.......

At 28 I would recommend staying AWAY from the Oasis unless its the Grand which you will like just know there will be YOUNG adults at the resort.

We're going April 5th thru 11th. I've been bumped to the Oasis Beach(I think)by Travelocity. We've had a heck of a time dealing with Travelocity. We like to drink and have fun but hey I was 18 TEN YEARS AGO!! Is the palm Beach property nice?

Everyone that goes to cancun during spring break to a known party resort, and then complains about the crowds...hello, don't blame the property!! Look into where you're going and the time of year that you are traveling. It's like saying that you don't like New Orleans because there's crazy half dressed people with parades and beads ruining your romantic dinner in the french quarter. Don't go during mardi gras, and don't go to Cancun during spring break.

28....depends on your style. i dont think i would have liked it....we stayed at the grand last year (yes, it was spring break) but,m you get different colored wrist bracelets that identify you...so, that being said, guests of oasis cannot eat or or drink at certain (many) places on the resort. while being a guest at the grand, you can do whatever and go wherever you please.....the pool was just gross.....i would NEVER set a foot in a pool w/ a pool bar filled with 18 - 24yr old.....yuck...imagine what gets done in there.....we have a pool at home in our yard and we have children, but, also have a pool srvc 1x wk and extra cholrine tabs......

and, yes, oasis is the spring break destination!!!
