I just got back, and must recommend Jade Tulum. It is a beautiful rustic retreat, brand new, very small and cozy, and you're practically living in a tree. It's clean, comfortable, great personal attention from the host, Juan de la Torre, on a gorgeous stretch of beach, it couldn't have felt more secluded or more peaceful. Highly recommend it.

Hi -- It's called Jade Tulum, way down the hotel strip, in Tulum. It's beautiful.

Thanks for the reply. My wife and I are divers. Do you know if the diving is good in this area? Do you have a web address for Jade Tulum? Thanks

John

I think at the bottom they give room rates, there's a place to click when you visit each of the rooms. Also, they will give you a discount if you stay multiple nights.

Hi we are going this weekend and are looking at Jade, Tita Tulum ( are they next to each other or how far apart?) and also Posada Lamar which is further north beside Posad Marguerita. Did it bother you not having a restaurant on site at Jade as we would like to sip a coctail on site at the beach! Also did Jade have hammocks on the cabana proch? Any info is appreciated. We also want massages so are there places to walk to for that also what restaurants are closest to Jade to walk to??

Thanx Bobbie

GCPSgirl, ROFLMAO, me too! I don't do "rustic" anymore since girl scout camp. I want a maid and room service LOL. For those who do make this choice, this place sounds absolutely perfect.

To clearestblue, you might want to post this on the Tulum forum instead of the Cancun version just a heads up. Tulum is 80 miles south of Cancun airport, a completely different world IMO.
