“ Scuba Diving ”

We have been to Cancun/Mexico tons of times but finally have our scuba certification for this trip in Jan... Anybody have good leads on a reputable dive shop or tours?

If you are staying in Cancun go with Manta Divers. Stay away from Aqua Tours or Scuba Cancun. Manta Divers is run by an American couple from Texas. They run a good operation and take out small dive groups.

If you are going to Cozumel, I recommend Papa Hogs or Living Underwater. They are both good dive ops and only take out small groups. All three of these dive ops have web sites. Do a Google search and you'll find them. You can get more information there as well as make advance reservations. Congratulations on your certification. You are going to love diving in Mexico.

I am going to Cancun this coming weekend also and have booked my diving through Manta Dives. I did alot of research online and they seem to be the best.

Scuba Caribe is also a very good dive shop. However they contrct through the hotels so you may not be able to use them unless they are your onsight hotel dive shop.
