In June I reserved a Lincoln Towncar and "meet & greet" driver through Cancun Limo. (http://www.cancunlimo.com) Even though I clearly communicated via email my arrival date and time, as well as the airline flight number, the driver and car were not there as Cancun Limo promised they would be. One of the reasons I used such a service was to avoid waiting for other tourists to get on the bus. Because of Cancun Limo's incompetence, not only were we later in arriving at our hotel than the other guests, but we also had to wait outside the airport in the heat and deal with all the hucksters who were trying to tell us that they knew our driver, etc., etc., etc. Once the driver finally arrived (after I had to activate my cell phone in Mexico to call them), he showed us the dispatch sheet that clearly showed that Cancun Limo had incorrectly recorded our arrival time.
Cancun Limo did not offer any kind of discount on what I thought was an over-priced ride to begin with. Not only that, they have refused to respond to three emails that I sent to them after I returned from Mexico. That’s extremely unprofessional.
I strongly suggest that you consider a different limousine company for your trips in Cancun. A problem upon arrival is not a very good way at all to begin a vacation. Also, DO NOT ever give your credit card information to someone unless you are sure that they are a reputable company (I paid cash on the return trip.) DO NOT pay in advance for any service such as this. You won’t have any practical recourse in a case like this where the contracted party fails to meet their obligation. If you schedule a car, then it would be a good idea to call and confirm your airport pick-up before you leave home.
