Thanks, Eric! I hope you guys are all feeling better now. Off to see the pictures!

Eric.....absolutely gorgeous shots of everything & everywhere! Looks like you had great fun. You must have felt it was your own, private resort! Everything looks so deserted.......& that is a shame for the economy in Cancun. people really do need to realize that Cancun is a great place to be & it's a great time to go!

Wow! Great pics, although I didn't get through them all. I will do so later. I am surprised how dead the Omni looks. You must have had the place to yourselves.........that's cool though!!!!!! I am an Omni lover also! The best place I have ever been.

Hey Eric, thanks for the pics. It looks like you had a great time. My wife and I will be at the Omni on the 23rd for our honeymoon. We are both Cancun virgins and these next for days will probably drag by. By the looks of it you had the place completely to yourselves, that's awesome, my wife was worried that we'd have to fight people for a palapa. Any tips or suggestions on things to do? We are planing a day trip to Tulum/Xel-ha and another to Isla De Mujeres, but the rest of the day will be spent lounging at the pool and on the beach. Thanks again for the great pics.

great pics Eric! | ||||||

Thanks for sharing the pix! I set it on slideshow last night, sat back, and enjoyed. What program did you use to set that up? And was it a free site?

I imagine that the picture of the Railing at Laguna Grill is the Crocodile?

ShadyBee, if you go to Isla Mujeres you must rent a golf cart and tour the island. My husband and I went to Cancun and Isla Mujeres in late May and we had a good time in Isla. Take the ferry to Isla then rent a golf cart. The isla is very small so you can tour the entire island within two hours. Take your time and check it out. We have a t/s at the Avalon so we stopped at the Avalon Reef and had a few drinks long the way. There are many other places where you can stop and have a drink if you wish. Have fun.

HI all! Sorry I'm late getting bacck. I had knee surgery today (scheduled for AFTER vacation)..I got injured in a hockey game in June. Anyway... Yes-the resort was pretty empty. I think they said at best 20% full. I am a computer programmer by trade so I wrote the webapp that takes my photos and presents them that way. I prolly missed some questions but I'll post more later. I'm groggy from all the fun today. Plus Vicadin (spelling) doesn't help that. Thanks for the picture compliments!

Cunspin - yep at the Laguana Grill. Food was pretty darn good too. I had heard he was there but wanted to see for myself. If anybody new (or not) to Cancun wants a fun day: Joes Jeep Tour was pretty good. Lots of fun. Ok, now i gotta lie down... bye for now.
