The Playacar gym is not on site however a shuttle comes approx. everty 15 min. to take you there. At first I also found this inconvenient but it turned out to be ok. The gym and spa are both located at the golf course. The gym overlooks the course. Gym was never busy, it's small but has most equipment. ( treadills, eliptical machines, bikes, free weights and workout stations) Classes are also offered for Pilates etc. Another thing I enjoyed was the gym wasn't more than a 15min. walk I would walk one way and shuttle the other. The area is safe and so beautiful. Give it a chance you may be as surprised as I was.
