We are at the Moon Palace April 12 - 19 and might drop by the Sun Palace to check it out.

We are not there until May 6. Let us know about the room selection issues, i.e., which rooms are best and how do we get them. I think all of my other questions have been answered somewhere on this forum. Have fun.

I stayed at the Sun Palace in January. As for room selection they all face the ocean and have great views, but if you are placed in a room that overlooks the activity pool immediately ask to be moved. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the pool. They begin activities at 10am and run them all day. The music is played very loud and everything is done over a loudspeaker. I enjoyed being part of the activities but when you want to lay down to take a nap in the afternoon it is impossible because you are listening to BINGO BINGO BINGO for an hour. After three days we asked for a new room. We were accomadated with no problems but packing up and moving was a pain but the blissful silence was worth it.

My husband and I will be there from April 7th to April 12- I will try to post my opinion sone when I get back, so it will be of use to you..

jowenm, would love to hear your opinion and info on rooms, etc, mdnick, stop by and say hi. We may get down to the Moon Palace as well. We cant wait.

Poftheo, I had read that the rooms over the pool were awesome? Do you think it would be better on a higher floor? Of course I guess we dont plan on spending to much time in the room during the day so that could make a difference as well.
