Just back from Cancun. My wife and I ate at the Crab House after reading about it on Trip Advisor. We love Stone Crab. The Crab House has the BEST Stone Crab in Cancun. We ended up eating there 3 times! Ask for Jorge he is the best! We had such great service and what a wonderful setting.Have the Jumbo size you will not be disapointed.

The never frozen crab claws had something happen to them, my guess would be that they had been frozen. We had them for appetizers and they were aweful. I had the spicy crab soup which was inedible. I had the house specialty ensalada crab house. I don't believe there was any dressing on it. i didn't know lettuce could taste bad but it did and the slimy soft veges didn't add anything. I picked out what few pieces of crab that were in there and they were okay. Very disappointing. We didn't stick around for dessert. Some people in my group seemed okay with their meals but i didn't hear a lot of rave reviews. Expensive too. And also some guy trying to sell us our picture on a beer bottle was a bit distracting.

Ate here while in cancun and can't say i was impressed. i got the surf and turf which was okay but nothing special. There wasnt anything wrong with the food but with so many other better restaurants in cancun i won't go back to this one. It's also just as expensive, if not more so, than better places
