We just returned. The food was more than passable. The economy has had a negative impact. Our room was budget but impressably clean as were the 2 pools. For 299.00 including airfare, transfers, and an all-inclusive plan for 4 days and three nights it was most definitely worth it.

We've stayed at 5-star resorts and while the ambience has been lovely; if you can handle low-end comfort. ...go for it and keep an open mind. Bring your favorite cd's and ask to play them poolside. Bring your meals to your room and relax on the balcony. Oh! And make friends with the local iguanas. They mean no harm and enjoy your company and left-overs.

"Not worth the hassle! We checked in and got into our room which was awful. Really small and really realy hard beds. by the 4th night there my back was in so much pain. Our room couldnt lock and it took two days for it to finally get fixed. We tried to change rooms a few times but the staff was very unhelpful, even when trying to change the lock!

The main problem with the hotel is the chance of getting things stolen from our room! met 6 people who had cash, cameras and other valuables stolen from a safe in the room. It wasnt broken into which led them to believe it was an inside job! heard a few other cases which made us worry about our rooms therefore we took our valuables with us wherever we went which is also a risk!

Food was OK at best for a few days but a lot of the days it was really poor!

There are many other hotels in cancun nicer and regret not paying that little bit extra for a comfort."

My husband and J stayed in this hotel last December..a little but good hotel, with a good food (we are italians, so you mean when we say good food) and also a good service (hello to Armando), a good animation and a good location, with a little beach but directly in front of the sea..
So, for us is a not expensive hotel, quiet and pleasant hotel...
