Beach: beautiful, crystal blue waters, no rocks, white sand, small waves, and the Westin owns a huge piece of beachfront property, you will not have a problem finding a place to sunbathe!
Rooms: Nothing spectacular, bathtub can only accomodate one person and it is not a jacuzzi, shower is small and is made for one person, unless the two of you are super thin, then maybe you could fit
Restaurants: They have 2 upscale restaurants (6:00pm-11:00pm), 1 casual restaurant (7:00am-11:30am, 5:30pm-11:00pm) and 1 pool side restaurant (11:30a-5:00pm). Since the hotel was around 40% occupancy they only had 1 of the upscale restaurants open so limited dining choices.
Prices: Breakfast buffet was $295 pesos/per person included omelett station, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, smoked salmon, meats, and cheeses. Club sandwich $160pesos, Caesar salad $110 pesos, Ahi Tuna salad $190 pesos, Guacamole and chips appetizer $110 pesos, Hamburger $210 pesos
Drinks on the beach and in restaurants were $85-100 pesos each, for example: pina coladas, margaritas, mojitos, etc.
The only water they offer is bottled and for 1.5L bottle it was $70 pesos
The 2 upscale restaurants are about $300 pesos a plate, delicious food!! Especially the Spanish cuisine restaurant "Arricefes".
Stay away from desserts, they all tasted frozen and were not homemade!
The Westin will nickel and dime you for everything, internet is 55 pesos flat rate for 30 min.
Pools: small, only 1 with a pool bar/ocean front, another really small side pool with ocean view, the other 2 pools are located on the lagoon side of the resort decent size, nothing spectacular
