I don't recommend it if you are an adventure seeker, or if you don't have children. It seems to be a great place for people who want to send their kids to "Mini Club Med" for the day, then flop down with a tropical drink on the beach. Unfortunately, we didn't fit that profile, and the Mini Club med was positioned right outside of our suite, so we were jolted awake by the shrill sounds of children at about 6:30 am each day. Next trip to Mexico, we'll stay in the smaller villages and hang with the locals.

We went to Club Med from June 16 to the 20. It was great but very americanized. My son aged 9 had a great time int he kids club he wished he went there earlier. My daughter aged 1 loved every minute of it, the kids club even included her in the awards cermony awarding her a medal for being the youngest member.
The room was good, we had a room with a shower only. The bed was nice and comfortable. Balcony off of the room. It was always cleaned nicely. Air conditioning worked wonderfully in our rom 2106.
Pool, its a bit small for size of resort but the resort wasnt too busy so it suited us just fine. There is a shallower area of the pool then it goes deeper.
Ocean was great nice and clean, beach boys were great at getting you what ever you needed.
Resturants only went to one of them and it was OK, food above average for a all inclusive resort but I did not find enough mexican variety, but it was still good. The baby corner was great for the little one. There was always milk to be found even at the bars.
Alls taff was great, The GO's were awesome. Very friendly and profesional.

We stayed at this Club Med for a week and had one of the best vacations of our lives. Even if you are not a big fan of all inclusive I would highly suggest going here. I have stayed at other Club Meds before and this one had a great staff. Everyone was wonderful and it was exceptional for my children as well! We used almost all their facilities and they are top notch. The Trapeze is extraordinary and Adrian and Mineiro are well trained professional and just great guys! Julianne and Jonathan run the club and they are very involved and are out to make everyones vacations special.

The location of the resort is wonderful. The beach is protected and there are hardly any waves. We were able to get our 2 year into the ocean and play around all day. The pool is not huge but most guests were taking advantage of the amazing beach. The staff was so helpful. They even made us a special birthday cake and brought gifts to our baby. The GOs were always asking us if we needed anything. The bartender even memorized our favorite drinks. The food was delicious and there was always a variety. We are a family of 6 with teenagers and young ones. they were all entertained and cared for. The chief of the village was on top of everything and seemed to be everywhere at the same time. I hope the tourists start going back to Mexico. The resort is super clean and safe. Our entire family loved it.
