I just arrived back home from Cancun on wednesday after a week long vacation. I stayed at the beach palace for a week of paradise. I have never been in a hotel that made me feel famous before the Beach Palace. The cleanliness and friendliness were added bonuses.
My room was ambient and romantic on its own. The food was incredible. The service was phenominal. The sad thing was that the hotel was only 30% occupied (even during Memorial Day) because of the swine flu scare.
I think anyone not going to Cancun (especially the Palace Resorts, my other favorite was Isla Mujeres) is missing out on an extraordinary vacation.
The hotel includes tours ( I believe 7) and we chose 3; Isla mujeres, wet n' wild, and Chichen-itza. We also had a 25 min back massage, pedicures and manicures included with the spa. The night activities with the lougue were also a blast. They had karoeke with a live band and salsa dancing! I definitely would recommend Beach Palace to anyone planning a vacation. Even if you bring your children they will have a blast too!!

We honeymooned at Beach Palace and loved it! The pool was beautiful and very clean. The accomodations were brand new and modern. Very large rooms and excellent views from the balconies. Only thing is it is probably a little noisy when at full capacity since it is not a huge resort. There is no beach but the view is stunning from the pool and rooftop.

We really enjoyed the food, which says a lot for an all-inclusive. We were married at Aventura Spa Palace and the food was so much better at Beach Palace. The spa was smaller but much nicer and "boutique-ish". I really loved this hotel and would go back!

Just returned from stay ar BP from 5/16-5/23. Requests were made in advance through Miriam in Guest Services and all were fulfilled. Our room #412 was across from the elevator, non-smoking and ocean facing. When we arrived we were met by Miriam Pineda and Ailin Osornio who treated us like royalty. During our stay we were also very cordially attended to by Martin in Guest Services. Martin is a must to speak with when you stay at the BP.
The entire hotel staff seemed to enjoy catering to all our needs. We did, in fact, tip all servers but at no time did anyone expect to be tipped. As regarding the beach, there was no beach. The building next door had a usable beach but the water eventually took over the beach. We also had the pleasure of viewing four other Palace resorts and enjoying the Kitchen Tour. Seeing and speaking with Miriam, Ailin and Martin made our vacation so enjoyable. The Palace organization is so fortunate to have them in their employ.

Just the facts: It has a '60's mod decor of Chrome and glass and funky shaped furniture.
There was no Beach. The ocean crashed into a retaining wall in front of the hotel.
The main pool was drained and being resurfaced the whole time we were there. They were showing the same movie (The bucket List) that I had read about in other reviews from visitors in prior months.
Japanese restaurant was very good and because the others were so mediocre we ended up eating at the Japanese restaurant 3 times, one of those times because we had abandoned our tough steak dinner at their steakhouse.
Rooms were nice and clean, modern decor. I like the balcony chaise lounge for two.
Took the bus to Moon Palace one day. I have stayed there as well and highly recommend it.
Wine was the same no matter what you ordered; merlot, cab, shiraz. I think they just changed the label.
My husband had to request extra blending of drinks at pool bar because the ice chunks wouldn't go up the straw.
My sister-in-law was refused champagne, being told they were out only to see a bottle being opened for another table.
We kept smiling and never complained but I promised myself I would write this review.

We stayed at the Beach Palace May 1 - May 8. May I first say that our media has done a great disservice to Mexico where the swine flu is concerned. We saw no one who even knew anyone who had been sick in Cancun. There were only 27 people on our flight out of Charlotte to Cancun and 40 on the trip back. Occupancy in the hotel was roughly 20% when it would have normally been 90% for this time of year. There was no fighting for a lounge chair at the pool or a wait for anything. There were more hotel staff than there were of guests. It was truly a shame. With that said and off my chest, the hotel was great. We stayed in a Presidential Suite on the 11th floor. It was wonderful. It had (3) full bathrooms and a bar area with a sink. There was also a DVD player in the room and we had taken movies to watch. They come by every night and do turn down service and aromatherapy. The pool was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the sky pool in the late afternoons. We had no issues with the food and there was plenty of variety. Someone was wishing for fried onion rings at the pool restaurant one afternoon and the next thing we knew the waiter came back with a plate full of them. They weren't on the menu in any restaurant. The vanilla ice cream is unbelievable. They try very hard to make sure you are happy and having a great time. We have been members of Palace Resorts for 11 years and don't regret the money that we spent to be members.
