don't stay there. make sure that if you do stay there take all your material of pass port, money, id or anything that maybe of some value. I stayed there and someone broke into our room. Our suite case was gone thru but nothing was taken becuase i had that bad feeling that someone was gonna go through our stuff. There was hardly any service and people there look at you and check to see if you have money. The service at the front desk is ok. they are cool.

We stayed in this hotel at our first night in Mexico. We liked the place. The airco is indeed cool, but after the cold winter was no big suprise. We made our reservation at www.BestDay.com . This way was the price cheaper. They had no available standard room when we arrived only one which was just painted, so they gave us a suite for the same price. The breakfeast was also ok, and we had parking place as well. The weather was not really warm so we did not tried the swimmingpool. The hotel was clean and the people vrendly.

Stayed here for 1 night. We asked for a quiet room (jetlagged), and they put us above a bar with live music!!! When my wife asked for another room, there was no other room available. When I asked for another room, there was a room available.

Other comments:
The toilet in the room is seperated by a small door....not much privacy!!!

If you're willing to stay in the downtown area, instead of on the hotel strip where all the beaches are, this is a decent, comfortable hotel. If you want to use the beach they have an arrangement with a beach club/restaurant and facilities there are quite nice. You can easily take public transportation (recommended over driving--no place to park). Downtown Cancun really isn't too bad for a city with no real history (it was created by the government when they built Cancun). There are plenty of good places to eat and occasional entertainment in the central plaza. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and there is a modest breakfast buffet. Hotel also has a bar in the lobby.

Stayed here first and last night of 5 day trip over Memorial day.

The hotel is downtown, steps away from shops, clubs, restaurants, and very convenient to bus station- about a 7 minute walk.

Rooms are very clean with a comfortable bed, great water pressure, and air conditioned worked well. Lobby is open air. There is a very small pool and deck in the courtyard that gets sun after 10am to about 2pm.

Rooms facing the courtyard are more quiet than ones facing street, but those facing street are not really that disruptive, perhaps so if you are a very light sleeper.

Staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke english if you didnt speak spanish. Small continental breakfast serving coffee, some juices, and small donuts- nothing special but adequate. There is a good diner type restaurant for breakfast near the bus station, about a five minute walk and is open 24 hours.

Bus station is a 7 minute walk. Buses to cancun airport-service every half hour to airport for less than $2.

Bus to Hotel zone steps away from hotel. Check out the public beach 30 minutes by bus- Playa Delphines-widest beach on the hotel zone and a cliff above beach with great views.

This is a perfect location if you want quick access in and out of cancun.
