Wow! We just returned from Cancun 2 days ago and I want to return already! Upon arrival we didn't know what to think...it's a little ran down compaired to some but the staff and laid back attitude made it the perfect place for us to vacation.
We loved the fact that we could walk to the night life and stumble back several hours later...:) We got to know the staff so well that we actually felt sad to leave them behind & still miss them today!
We actually bought into a time sare at Royal Sands Resort on the 2nd day in Cancun (it's a 5 star resort - very beautiful). But now I regret it a little because I would want to go back to The Clipper.
Love all at "Ray's" hotel resturant/bar.

Have just returned from Cancun and really enjoyed the stay at the Clipper club. The rooms were well maintained and all staff were helpful and courteous. Although close to the main bar and restaurant area, you would not know it at night as the rooms were quiet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the personal touch in a holiday hotel.

The Cancun Clipper Club has been and will always be my home away from home, and on a yearly basis i meet my Cancun family there at the CCC...My family are people i met there since 1994 and continue to meet every year...It is a reunion for all of us..The staff at the Cancun Clipper Club from the top honcho to the bottom are very curtious and attentive to people..I love the Clipper.

My buddies and I really enjoyed our stay and the clipper club. The staff there was frendly and nice. We had a very good maids and a cool phone technician. Our director of activities was a nice guy, he told us all of the cool clubs to go to and gave us VIP passes which didnt work but we still got in. I would definitely recomend this hotel to someone who does not want to spend alot of money on a hotel.
