I was looking for a hotel for a one-night stay, to conduct two business meetings, and move on. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. It was clean. The staff did their job. The room was clean and the bed was fine. The breakfast buffet was nice. The swimming pool worked for lap swimming early in the morning (before children took it over). It is near Puerto Juarez (for those wanting to take the ferry to / from Isla Mujeres).

Tip: The Radisson Chain guarantees that if you book on their website and then find a better rate anywhere else, they'll beat that better rate by 25%. Using the Trip Advisor site to check rates, I did find a $70 rate that beat the $95 rate on the hotel's site; I filed an on-line request and they responded promptly, honoring their guarantee so I paid just $52.50. It was a very good value at that price. I would not have felt I was getting a great deal had I really paid $95 for this hotel.

This is a good hotel for business trips to Cancun. It is no frills, but has nice clean rooms at reasonable prices (I paid $85 USD per night). The restuarant is OK, only at there once. It has a nice pool area. The rooms are clean and well appointed with free wifi internet. The hotel is downtown, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. There is a free shuttle to the hotel zone. The hotel has access to a beach club for 50 pesos ($5 CDN). Staff are fairly helpful but could be better. Tours can be booked at the hotel. Although not in the hotel zone, it is easy to get to, by a 6.50 peso bus ride or abour 200 pesos cab.

The Radisson is a nice place if you have a rental car and can leave to go exploring. If you stay you can also get to parts of the city that only the locals hang out which was really fun for one evening. We found great food everywhere around and Biscuits down from the hotel has an awesome breakfast.

We arrived in Cancun on March 5th and planned to stay at this hotel one night before travelling through Mexico by car the next day.
In one word, it was average. For the price I paid it wasn't any great surprise.

Beds are hard and very small.
The bar charges $4.00 US a beer. We wallked down the streeet and got a bucket of 4 beers for 6 dollars.
This is not in a very tousist area so not much to see if you are staying longer than a few days (unless you have a car).

The hotel was VERY noisy. Especially on the floor above us. One of the rooms started to party at 9:00 pm and by 1:00 am I was so exhausted I went to the front desk to complain.

The front desk attendent did not look impressed that I complained but to give them credit the party was over within half an hour.

The part that annoyed me the most is the time share guy who approached us in the lobby before we even got in the door.. I was tired after travelling all day and was not in the mood.

The air conditioner worked well but was VERY noisy.
This hotel was ok even though I can't say I got a good night sleep.
Best part of the hotel was that it was close to all the street vendors who made great CHURROS...yummy.
