I had booked a reservation through Michelle & Peter for arrival in June 2008 and unfortunately was unable to take my trip. Michelle took great care of me and held my deposit until I was able to rebook.

Upon arrival on April 18th we checked in directly with Michelle and she personally showed us to our room. We rented the penthous suite 2702 & 2802 with a roof top terrace. We had it all to ourselves, the views were wonderful of both the lagoon and beach. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were awsome and the kitchen was well equipt. My 6 year old son & I both enjoyed the pools and he actually learned to swim all by himself in the Solymar pool. The beach was great, the waves were a little rough but we had lots of fun playing in them.

Throughout our short stay I contacted Michelle several times to ask questions and she was always ready and willing to help. She went above and beyond to see that we were happy any comfortable in our room and at the resort. We frequently travel to Mexico although this was our first time in Cancun/Yucatan but now Cancun will definately be on the repeat visit list!

My wife and I checked-in at 3:30 a.m. after 7 hours of weather related flight delays. The room (No. 3007) had no A/C and had bugs. There was mold and mildew across all of the ceiling and the vents. There were no clocks in the room, no remote for the T.V. and the phones in the entire hotel didn't work. The next day we were told that the hotel was sold out and no other rooms were available. After a second night in misery we were able to get another room. It had A/C but no phone or TV remote. The food was deplorable. At breakfast they had a product labeled "Pork Sausage" that was nothing more than sliced hot dogs. The food was never covered or kept hot (above 140 degrees F.). They had one flavor of beer (woo hoo!!) and the bartender on the first night didn't know how to make a "rum & coke" drink. The beds were hard as a rock, and so were the pillows. I have to say that the staff overall was really nice, I only wish they represented a better hotel. Lastly, I was asked for the T.V. remote when we checked-out; I thought the desk clerk was crazy!!!

On March 15-21 2009 my roommate Whitney and I went to Cancun for Spring Break. This had been my first time traveling anywhere out of Iowa. When finding a place we fell in love with Peter and Michelle's condo's. When my roommates dad contacted them they stayed in touch with him and were very friendly. They were honest about everything and anything we wanted to know. When we arrived we were in heaven. We stayed in room 3604. It was very cute and clean. Michelle took us to the room and told us everything we needed to know about Cancun and the room. The balcony view from the room was amazing to look outisde. Everyone that worked there was very very very friendly. We felt right at home. We loved the maid service. Our maid was very excellent and nice. We wish we had her back at our apartment. Not only were the employee's friendly, but everyone else that stayed there. The one thing that we loved the most was how Solymar had entertainment for everyond and anything. This made it easier for us to find things to do around Cancun, and at the condo. It was also a good way to meet other people. Michelle and Peter were great at helping us out with anything we needed throughout the week. I won't of wanted to stay any where else then here. Being spring break we were worried about being to crowed and loud, but this was at the right location and we had a varity of people.This is one trip we won't forget. We talk about it every day. We want to thank Michelle and Peter and the staff for everything and to keep up the great work.

My best friend April and I stayed in Peter and Michelle's condo for Spring Break 09'. My dad pland this trip for us speaking with Michelle threw e-mail up in till the time we arived. She made us feel much better about all what was going on down there and made our parents feel safe about us going. The condo was wonderful...(looks just like in the pictures). The veiw from our balcony was amazing we couln't of asked for more. It was also very nice having the cleaning lady come twice threw out our stay she does a great job of keeping everything tidy. When we first arived Michelle meet us right away to personally walk us to our room. She told us all we needed to know about Cancun and to feel free to stop by at any time if we needed any thing at all! We will deffinatly be going back really soon we cant stop talking about the trip, could of been the best time ever!
