It went from bad to worse. I had reserved 2 connecting rooms in October of 2008. I chose this resort partly because they advertised connecting rooms on their website. We check in and get to our rooms and they are not connecting. So I go back down to the desk, of course they say they cannot help me no connecting rooms are available, check back tomorrow. So we didn't unpack hoping to get the rooms we wanted the next day. We didn't. They kept putting us off and telling us a manager was not available. Even the Expedia rep. was unable to help. The place is very under-staffed. What service we got was good but not much of it. One night we had no hot water to get ready for dinner. It did not seem to be an all inclusive. Internet was an extra charge, room service was extra and one night in the Spanish restaurant the waiter asked if we would like to try the wine of the night. I said sure we would try it. At the end of the meal he brought us a ticket to sign that charged the bottle of wine to our room. He never told us the wine was extra! Lots of hidden fees at this resort. Front desk staff were pretty rude at times. You had to make reservations every night for dinner at the front desk. Which meant you had to stand in line with everyone checking in and out, sometimes as long as 20 minutes and they took reservations from 9-2, no phone reservations were accepted. (unbelievable)
