My wife and I stayed at the Temptation Resort and Spa from June 16 through June 23. We have stayed in the Cancun area on many occasions, but this was the first time at Temptation. We have a very good time and laughed a lot while visiting the sexy pool.

The accommodations were fair, but not great. We had to change rooms after the first day. Our room was not ready upon arriving at the resort, as we were early. The check-in process was easy. They gave us a room with a great view of the sexy pool, but the air conditioning was not working properly. They insisted on trying to fix the unit before they would offer another room. That was unsuccessful.

The second room was very much out of the beaten path and had a view of the street! However, the air conditioning would give you chills if you walked in with a wet suit. The bed was the worst part of our stay. It was like sleeping (or tossing and turning) on a piece of ply board. We also had to tip the maid daily to get our preference of soft drinks in the refrigerator.

The sexy pool is definitely the heartbeat of the resort. All of the activity is there. The games were very funny to watch, but be careful what you volunteer for. Some of the games are a bit risqué! The drinks at the bar were good and the weather was great. Be sure to get out there early because the chairs go quickly. The relaxation pool was much quieter with fewer people. The down side is that they only staff one bar tender at the pool bar, so be prepared to wait.

The buffet restaurants’ food was average for this type resort. Be sure to make your reservations for the other restaurants because the food is MUCH better. We loved the Italian restaurant. The problem is making the reservations. They only take them from 10a-noon for that day, but you really have to get there before 10 to get in line. If you wait until 11a, you will not find a reservation opening. They only have one person taking the reservations and so you wait in line, playing musical chairs with the rest of the guests, until you get to this lady with a laptop. We never got the restaurant or time that we wanted. We always had to settle for what was left.

Overall, we had a good time for an impromptu vacation to Cancun. We have stayed at nicer resorts with better amenities and service, but I enjoyed trying something new. I recommend it for having fun in the sun in an adult atmosphere, but do not go to relax.

My wife and I quite enjoyed this resort and the restaurants are excellent.
The only observation I have is that the resort seems to have a slight identity problem. Does it want to appeal to the younger group i.e. 20 - 30 or does it want more mature clients.... I don't think it knows! I get the impression that it is going through a phase of change on this matter. The great benefit is that there are two pools, one very active and noisey and the other is quiet.
The beach is not all that good and suffers with a fair amount of seaweed.

ok i should start by saying the hotel staff is great and whatever they get paid is not near enough .us and another couple went in the last week of may and never again will i go to ttr with another couple as for that matter maybe this was the last time i go to ttr.what i cant understand is ive been to ttr 8x now and you would think they would know my face at the front desk "nope" lol but thats ok . the room was great we luck out on that and the bed was great but i love a hard bed lol as for my girlfriend well she was not to happy but this is her first time .the food was so -so ,but then again im a big meat eater as im from alberta canada lol but over all the food was ok .as for the staff 'wow ' they made the trip and sadly to say they help us out with our problem there in a huge way so my hat's off to them .at night well it's what you make of it myself i was'nt overly impressed .overall the hotel was great i would tell anyone to go foresure .however the down side was the people that were there .omg i have never seen so many jealous hubby's in my life lol i so swear i was hit on by alot of swinger's and ya it made it a little uneasy for us and there was a group that like to think they own ttr and can get away with looking at our girlfriend's for more then a quick second .and for the saying no one give's a [--] ...well that saying is nothing but a bunch of bs ,we had a great time and met some great people but it was sad how many hubby's were upset with us and the sad thing was we were with our girlfriends and ya im a one woman's guy not into swinging .would i go back forsure just based on the staff .

My husband and I just returned from a week long stay at the Temptations Resort. At first, like many other people i was a little skeptical about staying at an Adults Only resort. The Check in process went smoothly... and the staff is soo kind. as soon as we were given the keys to our room...we were escorted to where we would be making our "breakfast appointments" BEWARE OF THIS!!!! they trick you in to having breakfast with them, but all they really want to talk about is TIMESHARE!!!!! the woman told me it would only take about an hour and a half........4 hrs later we were still sitting in the office, with a drunk salesman....they try to trick you in to buying this crap by getting you drunk first.....Oh yea...and the dinner reservations crap...that was unbelievable... you have between 10am-noon to make your reservations....the lines are way to long to be waiting on...and the dress code for some of these resturants are over the top....all in all,. the foood at the asian and italian resturant was AMAZING!!! the staff was so polite...i would definately recommend this place to others who are looking to go on a romatic getaway!
