My husband and I booked this resort for our one-year wedding anniversary and we were not impressed. We stayed at Excellence in Punta Cana for our honeymoon, which we absolutely loved, so we thought we would try another all-inclusive that is adults only. We chose Cancun because it had the cheapest airfare and we chose the resort for the same reason, it was well within our budget. Upon arrival at the resort, you are asked to schedule a breakfast tour the following morning. We were told that this is when we would be shown around the resort and given more details for activity choices. We were a little skeptical, but we went anyway figuring it couldn't last that long. Well, we were suckered into a timeshare presentation that lasted 3 hours! Such a waste of valuable vacation time not to mention the pressure put on you to buy! My husband and I are also picky eaters, so we didn't care for the food at all (everything was seafood or had mushrooms in it). We didn't like the activities during the day or at night. Unless you want to drink there is nothing else for you to do. We booked excursions just to get away from the resort as much as we could. The room smelled moldy and nothing dried. The air was on high, but we could hardly feel it. There is little to no shade by the pools, so we were sun burned several days in a row. If you wanted anything extra, they charged you for it (like a glass of champagne). Do not book this hotel if you are going for a relaxing romantic time.
