It is our fourth time back to the hotel and the first time since it has changed its name to Temptation. This time we brought our family with us.
The hotel was about half full for the first week, but this gave us freedom to move around the hotel and the chance to go to any of the restaurants any night. Usually you are aloud one visit per restaurant per week. This was great the Italian, fish and Chinese are excellant. I must recommend the gruper in the fish, pork loin in the chinese and filet of beef in the Italian.
We had a excellant stay and spent most of out time on the beach and by the quiet pool. The beach is vastly improved since our last visit and it is a lot wider, with many comforatble beds and timber shaded area when its gets hot.
We really enjoyed the free sailing and wind surfing, ask for Lewis if you go he is an excellant tutor.

I must state though there are games that go on at the hotel, which we do not get involved in. But they are quite tame compared to an 18 to 30s holiday. If you do not want to get involved in the games there is plenty space to get away from them, i.e the quiet pool and the beach.

We must say the staff where excellant once again during our stay and it is a BIG reason why we return.

One of the things my mother in law did point out was its distance to up town and that you had to get a taxi. Personally this does not bother myself as I like to get away from it. But my mother in law would go again and said it was one of the best holiday experiences she has had.

All in all excellant food, staff and we will be going again !!

For all of those who don’t know what to expect…

At our arrival at Cancun airport, we were greeted by many friendly tour advice guides. They are very informative, giving you advice on trips and even how to not get taken advantage of by the taxi drivers. They will offer you great deals on day trips, however the catch is that you have to go with them to tour a new hotel and will ask you for $20 to reserve the tour. This was an akward beginning to our vacation, we would advise that you walk past all the tour guides, go straight to the shuttle pick-up where you will see the company you booked. Ours was Best Day, and they were very easy to identify.

After about 30 minutes, we arrived to Temptation Resort. The hotel is beautiful, very modern, clean, and with friendly staff. At check-in the desk clerk will advise you to meet with someone to give you a tour of the facilities. They also call this the “welcome package.” After reading other reviews, we opted to skip out since it is another atempt to sell you a timeshare of sorts. We told them we would come back later for the tour (without having the intention of returning), which was a mistake, since they would not stop calling us until we told them we weren’t interested.
The down side of course from avoiding the salespitch was that we didn’t receive the tour of the resort and had to figure things out on our own. It was pretty simply though to take a walk around the resort and ask some employees and other guests a few questions to figure where everything was located. It was very easy to find the restaurants, pools and the activities for the day.

The center of attention is around the sexy pool. The activities of the day are posted on the board in front of the sexy pool. The games are funny, nothing too crazy, so don’t get your hopes up, but it was more fun when the audience participated. The craziest thing we saw was the naked volleyball game. While you sip you strip. The bartenders are super friendly, and cocktail servers are everywhere. Drinks are of course watered down but, imagine if they weren’t, you’d be drunk in a few hours and miss all the action.

Every night there is a different show or theme party. The shows start around 9:00 and last about an hour and a half. After that the crew will entice you to a night out at one of their sponsered clubs. We visited the CT Nightclub with a group from the hotel. We paid $45 which included transportation to the club, entrance, and all you can drink with bottle service, and a VIP area for the group. The place was phenomenal, picture a club in vegas, the sound, the special effects, and the dancers were mind-blowing. If you decide to stay at the resort, there are three lounge bars to choose from.

We also took a trip to Isla Mujeres. We booked the trip through the hotel, but make sure you take extra cash and sunscreen. It’s $5 per person at the dock. The trip is all day and if you drop your sunscreen in the water like we did, you’ll be paying atleast $20 for a small bottle of sunscreen. The trip was full of activities, including snorkeling, a mellow version of paragliding, lunch, and an hour to shop the local artesians.

The restaurants are great, we loved the Asian place. It wasn’t too packed so we were able to walk right in without a reservation. They do have a dress code, make sure you dress appropriately. There is a breakfast and lunch buffet, as well as the snack bar that seems to be open 24/7. The food is great, they have anything you can ask for. We totally recommend this place. You are going to have a great time!!!

We stayed at Temptation June 23-29. They just recently started some renovations, so there were workers all over the place painting. You had to be careful to draw your shades if you were walking around in your birthday suit.

When we arrived, our safe didn't work and the sink was clogged. I called maintenance and they sent someone to fix it immediately. The staff was always nice and helpful and never rude.

The food at this resort, compared to others, was quite good. There were four restaurants for dinner and all four were very good, especially the Italian and Asian. The buffet was only open for breakfast, but was also very good.

We didn't much join in the activities, but they were fun to watch. No pressure to join if you don't want to. You better have an open mind to go to the sexy pool. Topless optional - and things can get a bit carried away if you get a obnoxious crowd...so don't be surprised at anything you see at that pool.

The quite pool was mostly quite, and you could always find a seat (of course the hotel was only about 45% capacity, which was actually kinda nice. The water seemed a little cooler in the quite pool than the sexy pool and the drinks were better there as well (Bartenders Alfredo and Lou-Lou were the best!) The drinks were typically not weak, and I had no issues getting my buzz on.

Overall, for the price ($2K for me and my wife for 6 nights), you can't beat it. All you can eat and drink, decent rooms (ours did NOT smell), nice restaurants, friendly staff, plenty of activities and meeting tons of new people made for a good vacation for the two of us!

My wife and I had the best vacation ever at Temptation. The Staff was incredible especially Christian and Danilea. The food was good, The Italian restaurant was the best. We met some really cool people and we are staying in touch. We partied with about 22 folks from the U.K. what a time !!! I am taking my wife back in October for her Birthday. I would highly recommend this place. If you are a little skiddish about topless or adult themes go to Disney but if you like adult fun Temptation is the place. See you in October!!!

This was our first trip to an all adult resort. Although it is topless, it is definitely not a Lifestyle filled resort. We did meet a few swinger couples, the majority of people were vanilla or single. The singles were respectful (as was everyone)...it was not an issue. We still had a fabulous time and would recommend it.

Food was great.

Resort was VERY clean and nice.

Nightly entertainment was average. The events only lasted about an hour and then they wanted to shuttle everyone off to an area night club (where drinks were not included in price) and you have to arrange your own transportation back to the hotel. The BOOZE CRUISE was awesome...do it - - it is worth the $$$.

Daytime entertainment was fun..maybe a little wearing after 5 days in a row...but they are crazy and fun and will give you a chance to interact with others if you are shy.

We spent the extra $$$ and got a jacuzzi suite., The jacuzzi was nice, but we only used it once. Next time, we will get a regular room and stay an extra night for the same price. We just didn't spend enough time in our room to make it worth it.

Our only real complaint was that someone stole our Blackberry out of my bag while we were at the pool. Shame on us for not leaving it in the safe..we should have known better. We saw one vagrant wonder into the pool area begging for money and smokes. Just be aware of your belongings.
