I enjoyed my stay at "Club Verano Beat". It is not on the grand scale by any means. It felt like a family ran hotel and I felt very safe there. The room I was in was on the 1st. floor and had air-conditioning units. One did not work well when we turned it on. I called the front desk and assistance was sent right away. The problem was solved . The unit had 1bedroom, living room with 3 areas for sleeping and a kitchen area with a table and chairs. You could not cook in the room, but you could bring food to the room and be comfortable. The bathroom was clean and large. I was able to walk out my patio door and walk right to the beach , The beach was a few steps away. If you wanted to swim in the the beach water you could. I saw several people who were swimming. I enjoyed seeing the fishing boats come in and view the catches that had been made that day. I went includsive when I booked my stay and was happy I did. The food was fine. The salad, fish and some of the beef dishes were great. I did have a hamburger that I did not like. If you are after entertainment and lively night life, this is not the place for you. I did not mind catching the bus to take me to intown activities and to the night life. Also, cabs are everywhere. English is not widely spoken in Cancun. I went into several hotels and found out that persons that spoke English had to be called to talk with me; but you can get your point across if you know a few Spanish words. I will stay at the Club Verano Beat again when I go back to Cancun. It was stress free.

This was my first trip to Mexico and was a bit nervous by the whole adventure. After being bombarded at the airport and terrorized on the shuttle, by the time we got to the hotel we originally booked (Las Perlas) I was a bit frazzled. We were told by a somewhat rude and insensative man at the front desk of Las Perlas, that they "had overbooked", but had set us up at no additional charge at a better hotel. I almost cried...it was not starting out to be a good trip.

Once we were transported to Club Verona Beat, things started to fall into place. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and gave us a large suite (an upgrade from the room we had originally booked at Las Perlas) and our all inclusive arm-bands. Our room was large, very clean, and on the first floor. We had a view of the tennis courts, but it was like looking out into a garden.

We found the hotel to be clean and welcoming with the staff very friendly and courteous. Our room was always cleaned and we didn't experience any of the odors that I have read about.

We enjoyed the food very much and the drinks at the bar were suprisingly strong.

There are a large number of European guests and we made friends with a couple from Canada that had the same experience at Las Perlas that we did.

The only complaint that we had, was that the beach was very small. It came in handy however, since we took the Isle and the tour left from our hotel!

Overall it was a wonderful experience!! Very relaxing and we enjoyed the fact that we weren't surrounded by a bunch of party animals!!

We would definitely reccommend it to travelers on a smaller budget. You can experience all of Cancun from this nice little hotel, without all the money.

If you want an all inclussive so that you can stay at the hotel and lay out on the beach, don't stay here. If you want the typical American beer drinking party while laying out outside the hotel, spend the big bucks buddy. Look, I'm very pleased with this hotel, but I didn't come here for the beach. We just wanted a room and launching point: we had our rental car, and we moved to the places we wanted to see. As a place to sleep I have no complaints other than no elevators, lots of stairs, small beach, muddy-dirty waters, and worn out bathroom chrome down to the brass...ohh and clogged up sinks and toilets.
I recommend this hotel if you want to exploere the yucatan, if you have your rental car, and if you want to see Isla Mujeres one day, Playa del Carmen the next, SCUBA next, then ruins at El Meco/El Rey. If you want to come to explore the whole Yucatan on a budget do this: two nights here, then off to Valladolid to "El Meson del Marques hotel" then continue to Chichen Itzá and stay at the "Mayaland," then consider a night in Tulum at "Zamas." And if you really want to explore the Yucatan, the ruins and the culture...avoid Cancun altogether, since it's a tourist trap commercilized and without its own identity...go to Playa del Carmen if you want to see a little personality.

The service was bad, the food the taste is not included and not much choice. We got to the room no serviette no lock for the room no television remote and the worse the all inclusive close at 10 pm we want to pay for a coke and sprite we pay over than a 1,50$ each. The room are not bad but don't expected to much comfort from the bed really hard. I almost frogot the beach what beach between boat and boat if you like to swim with the odor of fuel its your place. Worse place i ever see.....
