Booked this hotel on the internet. The first couple of days were great, basic hotel but clean. However we had problems with the toilets blocking up, it took hours for anyone to come and look at it and at no point were we offered alternative room, this happened at least three times while on the 10 day trip.
Any other issues we raised were shrugged off and on the last day when a Spanish speaking friend came to take us to the airport, staff denied we had reported any of the incidents or problems. There was no guest support and at times we felt we were in the way.

Club Verano Beat was a quaint, real Mexican hotel; not some corporate American version of a hotel. If you want a Mexican experience in Mexico, this hotel is for you. The room was fine, the bed was horrible, but the people that worked at Club Verano Beat were amazing. They were friendly, happy, and very accommodating. My friend and I stayed for a week on the all-inclusive plan and we loved this hotel. We were not looking for the "spring break" experience and this hotel was perfect. The hotel was not too far from a bus stop and taxis were always available. The food on the all-inclusive menu was limited, but we only ate basic meals at the hotel anyway. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to sleep in, this hotel is for you. If you are looking for a club or resort experience, head south to the more expensive part of the hotel strip.

I am only writing this as this hotel seems to have a lot of negative feedback. Originally I was not supposed to be staying it this hotel but was moved here at the last minute and was quite concerned after reading other reviews.

Personally I thought the place was fine, don't get me wrong it’s not the Ritz but it was clean and the staff were very friendly. The evening food is quite basic but I never had a problem with this and the lunch menu should have something to suit everyone’s appetite.

The place backs onto the beach although there is not much of it, however you can walk further down the beach if this bothers you. Also the pool area is fine and you get the sun up until about 4:30pm.

To comment on the issue regarding cats yes there about 6 or 7 in the grounds but they never bothered me and I believe they belong to the hotel to keep other animals away.

The only thing that did bother me was that there was no fridge in the room so you have to get bowls of ice from the bar to keep anything cool in your room.

Overall if your after luxury this is not the place for you, however if your after something basic and can get a good deal I don't see any real reason to not stay here.

Like the is freindley and clean but the beach is very small to walk!!!1
